Guatemala Action Project: Up (early) & Away!!!

Late to bed, early to rise! 🌚

⛄️We are officially on our way! We departed from church at 2:00am to catch our 5:25am flight to Atlanta before connecting to our Guatemala flight.

Our team this year consists of 11 eager and excited believers (in Christ :) Some have made this journey before, some are going for the first time. Speaking of first time.....Kelly's never been on an airplane before😳!! Some know what to expect on this journey, some don't - other than the pictures they've seen from prior trips. All going for many reasons - but one thing is for sure, no matter the reason, God has called each one of us to make this journey. It is no mistake! He's called us to share His Word, see what His people are doing in Guatemala, to share Mercy and Hope with one another, to walk Humbly with Him & our brothers and sisters of Guatemala, and most importantly, to grow closer to Him! He does crazy things to get our attention and I'm excited to see who and what He uses this week to help us all grow in Faith and Love.

We're excited to see what God has in store for everybody involved. He's in control and we're all His! God is Good!!

Please pray for our journey down today. Pray for awareness, wisdom, patience, joy, and enjoyment. Please pray to tear down the wall of fear. It's so easy to let fear and worry dominate our minds and blind us from enjoying an experience. Fear and worry is NOT of God. It is a foothold we give Satan. Many of us, maybe all, have something or another that is weighing our minds right now. Can you please pray for that weight to be released and instead, we can give that to God and feel relaxation, energy, peace, and grace.

What is something you are letting fear get in the way of something great God wants you to experience? Give it to Him!!
